A practical school desk for outdoor education, Cergnat 1927, Switzerland: children with a pack on their back that can be folded out into a table and chair, lessons in the open air. Zaandijk in 1920: no footage, only the title on screen. Free and order exercises at a school in Switzerland: schoolchildren doing exercises on a sports field. The youth of Kattenburg have their own swimming pool: sign Groote Kattenburgerstraat - Centrum, Mariniersplein, children in the water, adults watch from a bridge, children dive from a bridge, boys on a floating raft. They have a magnificent diving tower: boys dive from a bridge, play and hang under the bridge, children get dressed. Shot put: boys compete in a shot put competition (Switzerland). Dikkie tries to catch fish: a boy tries to catch fish by hand. Ice rink in Bloemendaal 1931: old and young skate, including in a train and swaying, a woman does a pirouette and falls. An unusual dancer in an unusual setting, Cergnat, Switzerland 1927: a girl dances on a carpet while other children watch and applaud. The Doorwerd wave pool near Arnhem 1935. The pool empty: shots of an empty pool. Full: a swimming pool filled with water and visitors. The first waves: waves in the pool with swimmers and bathers, people holding on to ropes stretched across the pool. Make yourself comfortable: a boy doing exercises with a physiotherapist. Triplets in the stadium: a cycling race with three-person bicycles in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam.

Barrels are checked for leaks: a man fills a barrel with hot water using a bucket and a funnel, a barrel is shaken back and forth to clean it, the barrel is hit, a leak is caulked with cotton wool. Filled with hot grease: a barrel is filled and rolled to a boat, a fully loaded boat sails. A sprinkler keeps the barrel cool: a boat with a sprinkler and wet barrels. A view of a gallery from Dr. Rollier in Leysin, Switzerland, 19..: children in rows of beds in the sun. A stretch bandage: a boy in a bed with a leg in a splint. Ice hockey rink in Haarlem, 19..: men's ice hockey game with an audience. A jump over 10 boys: a man dives over a row of ten boys after a jump from a springboard, landing on a cushion. Bleeding from the ulnar artery (high sling): applying a bandage and sling to a man. When Amsterdam's youth are hot: children playing in a shallow pool, children on a sandy beach near a residential area, a small bridge over the water, children eating ice cream.

Horse polo: a horse polo match in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam. Young anglers: boys in shorts, some wearing ties, fishing with a fishing rod. A boy baits his hook and slides the bamboo sections of his rod together. Some footage from the film of the Hoog-Blaricum children's sanatorium in Laren in 1930: a nurse; boys and girls in beds in the ward and outdoors, children being washed, doctors examining patients, children sunbathing. The outdoor school: boys and girls set up chairs and tables on the terrace and receive lessons. The kitchen: staff serving food from large pots onto plates, children at the table and in bed during meals. A girl being fed.

Description: The sale of Christmas tags is the basis for the establishment and operation of the Christmas tag homes around Denmark. The purpose of the homes is to house and help vulnerable and particularly needy children. Many of the Christmas tag children come from the big cities. Funds may be tight here, and the children may be left to fend for themselves and life in the wretched backyards. At the Christmas mark homes, they can receive care, fresh air and get back to work after illness. The film follows daily life at the various Christmas mark homes in Denmark: Lindersvold in Faxe, the Mørkøv home in Northwest Zealand, Fjordmark by Flensborg Fjord, Holbølls Minde by Svendborg, the Hobro home by Mariager Fjord and the Christmas mark home in Juelsminde.
Several of the recordings can also be seen in the film 'The Christmas Tag Film' from 1949.
