Out in Europe, boots are being trampled and here children experience that they have to leave their country for reasons they do not understand. The world is getting smaller, the sensational radio sends voices and music into the atmosphere and for the first time a Danish king visits Greenland. The broadcast features "witnesses" who talk about being a child in the countryside and in Greenland in the 20s.
