Description: A film report on the devastation which followed the cyclone and flood wave over areas of East Pakistan [Bangladesh] in May 1965. Families who have lost their homes and entire possessions are shown trying to rebuild their lives. A boat carrying Red Cross supplies brings relief to some of the victims. In addition to food and water from the East Pakistan Red Cross [now Bangladesh Red Crescent Society], gifts of clothing are distributed which have been donated by Red Cross and Red Crescent societies in other parts of the world.
